Exhibition D-Day!

The day of reckoning finally arrived as Cate and I headed for the Storytelling Centre laden with illustrations, double-sided tape, scissors, coloured card and a ton of blu tac. We managed to pick the hottest day of the year so far (30 degrees in Edinburgh!) as we cut, glued, stuck and adjusted various things until we were finally satisfied. It's all people up so please go take a look and let us know what you think!

The boxes of characters are put in place and we're ready to go!

Not long now folks!

The prints have arrived, the lettering is being cut out and we're getting ready for a big foamboard-and-spraymount session!

...and I think it's working well. Interesting to see if we can get our two very different styles to blend on the same page. We're always up for a challenge!

Latest Characters and Animals

Hooray, I have finished all my characters, animals and objects, as has Vicki. Phew! Now we are going to work on the backgrounds, and all the final details of everything else for the exhibition. Not long to go now! It's really exciting to be in the last few weeks before we install everything; wait til you see our ideas!

Animal Update

I've been concentrating on getting all my animals finished by the end of the week and so far my favourite is this blue whale.

Only another 5 to go, although I keep adding new ones to the list!

The countdown begins...

Whew time is really whipping by now but Cate and I seem to be on a roll. This week we've been designing posters and adding a few new characters to our huge lists!
